‘The audacity of this man’: Anthony Fauci Cashes In, Charging Up To $100K For Speaking Engagements
Dr. Anthony Fauci was called out on social media after it surfaced that the retired NIAID director is charging up to $100,000 for speaking engagements. The DC way is to cash in on government service and Fauci is no different than the rest.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ rapid response director Christina Pushaw broke the news by posting a screenshot from the Leading Motivational Speaker’s Agency’s website where Fauci is listed as a “motivational” and “health care” keynote speaker but it will cost you $50,000 to $100,000 to hire him.
The website says of Fauci: “Keynote Speaker Anthony Fauci is America’s leading expert on infectious diseases. He is currently the Director of the National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases (NIAID). He is a lead member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force addressing the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States.
“Anthony’s career as a public health servant has spanned over 50 years. He is the son of a pharmacist and earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College.

“He commits his life to saving others through research and development of vaccines and emergency plans to combat dangerous diseases.
“The 2020 COVID-19 pandemic thrust Anthony into the limelight as a voice of education and reason during a very alarming time in American history.
“Anthony got his start in public health as a clinical associate for the Laboratory of Clinical Investigation at the NIAID.
“He then went on to serve as the Head of the Clinical Physiology Section before being appointed Chief of the Laboratory of Immunoregulation. In 1984, he took his current position as Director of NIAID.
“Anthony’s important contributions to public health safety are wide-ranging.
“As an immunologist, he leads U.S. efforts to understand and combat viral diseases such as HIV/AIDS, the 2009 swine flu pandemic, Ebola and SARS among others.
“Anthony was instrumental in the development of biodefense drugs and vaccines following the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
“Additionally, his scientific observations are crucial to the understanding of the human immune response.
“Anthony is a keynote speaker who’s career warrants execution under immense pressure that can alter the course of human existence.
“His work on domestic as well as global health issues has saved millions of lives. This high level of research, discovery and execution is amazing given the grave challenges he faces on a daily basis,” the company says.
