Dem Reps Put Pelosi On Notice, Refuse To Publicly Say They’ll Vote For Nancy As Speaker Of The House

Sharing is caring!

Nancy Pelosi is on thin ice. She has a very small margin in the House that she arrogantly made smaller as Biden appointed a few Dem Reps from among the winners of the 2020 debacle.

Regardless of the last few contested recounts, Pelosi will hold one of the smallest majorities in recent history.

She cannot afford to lose any votes on any upcoming issue including what she considers a perfunctory vote to make her Speaker for one more term on January 3.

But Pelosi is facing revolts from all sides. The left flank, led by Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez even called for new leadership.

AOC walked it back a bit saying she was not ready for the job before doubling down and reiterating the call for change at the top of the Dem Party including failed politicians like Chuck Schumer and Pelosi.

Many think AOCm will primary Schumer and she would probably win if she did it. As for Pelosi, she couldn’t have been happy to see two incoming Dems distance themselves from her publicly today on CNN.

They were asked and they simply refused to publicly say they will vote for her as Speaker which is never a good sign.

Cori Bush (MO) and Jamaal Bowman (NY) appeared CNN’s “State of the Union” and refused to say whether they will back Pelosi and Nancy simply can’t afford defections.

Bush said, “What I’m going to do is make sure that the voices of the people of St. Louis are being heard and that we have what we need. So you’ll find out then.”

“I’m working with my community,” Bush insisted.

Bowman put Pelosi on notice saying he was “organizing” with his “community” and issued some demands for what he wants to see done including “reparations for the African-American community.”
