Kristi Noem Puts Biden On Notice, Says SD Won’t Accept Settlements Of Illegal Immigrants

Sharing is caring!

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem put President Joe Biden on notice on the Fox News Channel’s “Ingraham Angle” saying her state will not allow Biden to resettle any illegal immigrants there.

She said any attempt by the Biden administration to resettle migrants in South Dakota will fail and that Biden is “not going to find a place here in South Dakota.”

Noem said, “What I have determined by watching the actions of this president is that he is making America unsafe. These are people that are crossing our border illegally. We do not know who they are. Multiple news sources have told us that we have people on the terrorist watch list that are getting into this country this way, and they’re not going to find a place here in South Dakota.”

She said On Twitter:

“South Dakota won’t be taking any illegal immigrants that the Biden Administration wants to relocate. My message to illegal immigrants, call me when you’re an American.”

From Fox News:

Noem’s tweet echoes the sentiment of other Republican governors, including South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster, who issued an executive order Monday, barring federal officials from placing or housing unaccompanied migrant children.

“Sending unaccompanied migrant children from the border to states like South Carolina only makes the problem worse,” McMaster said on Twitter.

The influx of undocumented migrants at the southern border has inundated U.S. Border Patrol with over 300,000 apprehensions this year, noted Texas Republican Rep. Chip Roy during a Wednesday hearing with the House Judiciary Committee.

Roughly 22,000 unaccompanied minors have arrived at the border and are now being cared for by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Congressional Republicans have widely criticized the Biden administration’s changes to U.S. immigration policies, which they believe has led to the increased number of undocumented migrants at the southern border.
