Hollywood star Megan Fox risked angering the left when she gave a huge compliment to former President Donald Trump on the Jimmy Kimmel show. Kimmel had Arsenio Hall guest host for him and the topic of the big UFC fight came up. Fox was there and sat next to Trump. She said:
“I’ve never seen secret service before and he had like 30 secret service agents with him. He was a legend. That arena was very supportive of Trump when he came in.
“I was like, ‘I don’t know how I feel about this, because if someone is a target, then I’m like, I could get harmed because I am like adjacent to where he is.’ So, I was worried about my own safety, that’s all I was caring about.”
The Dems were hoping the boo birds would come out but chants of USA, USA drowned out the few who did try to heckle Trump.
Mel Gibson was also there and he went viral for saluting Trump as the former President entered the arena. The video of Mel saluting Trump has been viewed over a million times and you can see it below.
From The New York Post:
Gibson, known for starring roles in “The Patriot” and “Braveheart,” was captured making the military-style gesture to Trump as the former president walked through the crowd and waved.
The clip attracted widespread social media commentary as it circulated following Conor McGregor’s loss to Dustin Poirier.
Gibson, 65, was not previously a well-known Trump supporter. He dissed Trump’s plan for a US-Mexico border wall in 2016 and didn’t vocally back him in 2020 — unlike more forceful Hollywood Trump backers like Kirstie Alley and Jon Voight, who routinely promoted Trump’s re-election campaign.
Even actors Vince Vaughn and Kelsey Grammar were more open than Gibson about their support for Trump.
