Kamala Harris And Joe Biden’s Comments About Jussie Smollett Come Back To Haunt Them

Sharing is caring!

Jussie Smollett was convicted of 5 counts yesterday and now awaits sentencing from an annoyed judge and a furious special prosecutor. Dan Webb, a high-powered Chicago lawyer was the special prosecutor and he was pissed Smollett disgraced the legal system by lying to the jurors for hours. He may even charge Smollett with perjury he is so mad at Jussie’s antics.

But many other prominent Dem figures should be ashamed of themselves for what they said about Jussie, and as they are in power one must question their judgement by pointing out how wrong they were.

Joe Biden said: “What happened today to @JussieSmollett must never be tolerated in this country. We must stand up and demand that we no longer give this hate safe harbor; that homophobia and racism have no place on our streets or in our hearts. We are with you, Jussie.”

Kamala Harris said: “.@JussieSmollett is one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know. I’m praying for his quick recovery.

“This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate.”

Cory Booker said:

“The vicious attack on actor Jussie Smollett was an attempted modern-day lynching. I’m glad he’s safe.

“To those in Congress who don’t feel the urgency to pass our Anti-Lynching bill designating lynching as a federal hate crime– I urge you to pay attention.”

And according to Al Sharpton’s own words, Jussie should do 15 years in prison, the maximum he faces. Sharpton said:

“The reported hate attack on my friend and brother, actor Jussie Smollett is despicable and outrageous. The guilty must face the maximum.”

Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell said:

“What happened to Jussie Smollett is vile and tragic; thankfully, he will recover.

“But hate crimes like this are happening more frequently, egged on by careless hate-filled rhetoric.

“We start reducing these crimes by rejecting the speech – neither can ever be accepted as normal.”
