Joy Behar Falls On Face On Live Television Today, Gets Up And Says: “Who do I sue?

Sharing is caring!

Joy Behar took a tumble today on the set of The View as she tried to get in her chair at the start of the show. Her co-hosts gasped and rushed to her side and helped Joy get up amid muffled yelps of pain.

Cameras captured the whole show as Behar went down hard on the stage in front of a live television audience of millions. The studio audience was stunned. Co-hosts Sara Haines, 44, and Sunny Hostin, 53, were heard gasping as they rushed to help Behar.

Whoopi Goldberg, 66, moved quicker than she has in years over to help Behar and could be heard saying “just stand.” Behar needed to be helped up by more than one person. She was not seriously hurt and continued with the show. (See video below)

The co-hosts trashed the chairs on the set saying that has happened before as Joy finally shook it off and turned to the cameras and said:

“Twenty-five years, that has never happened.

“Who do I sue?

“The main thing — just to talk seriously — when Bob Saget fell, he died.

“If you hit your head, and you feel dizzy or you have blurred vision, or you feel like you want to go to sleep, go to the doctor.

“Because that will kill you.

“I just missed the step. As usual.”

“I’m a klutz.

“But you know what? I’m going to make a resolution.

“I’m going to make my behind a little bigger, just for the purpose of the chair.”

From People:

During Thursday’s episode of The View, the 79-year-old co-host walked out onstage as usual. But this time around, Behar accidentally fell out of her chair.

After Behar’s co-hosts helped her off the ground, moderator Whoopi Goldberg said: “These chairs move!”

“You touch it and you’re on the ground,” added Goldberg, 66.

Sunny Hostin said it’s “happened to all of us at one time or another,” though Behar countered: “25 years, that has never happened [to me].”
