“We Didn’t See It Coming”: Jill Biden Tries To Make Excuses For Joe Biden’s Blunders, Fails Miserably

Sharing is caring!

Jill Biden, 71, spoke at a fundraising event for the Democratic National Committee in Nantucket, Massachusetts Saturday and tried to rally the troops by making excuses for the debacle that has been Joe Biden’s presidency.

But she gave up the game a few seconds in saying ‘we never saw it coming’ before quickly catching herself. Look, the main criticism of Biden is that he saw it all coming and didn’t do a godamn thing to avert catastrophe.

Americans are not stupid we know the job comes at you fast. But from Afghanistan to Russia invading Ukraine to the baby formula shortage, Biden and his team knew these things were happening and rather than be proactive and mitigate the damage they sat around flatfooted while chaos reigned.

Just look at what Biden is doing now – kissing up to the Saudis to get them to pump more oil and lower prices.

Biden told the entire world for months Putin was invading and no one believed him. He should have gone groveling to the Saudis at that time, before the oil markets were shocked by the invasion, then today when the damage has been done.

Every crisis can be traced back to the same inaction by team Biden. So Jill’s words ring hollow to the Dem faithful who know they deserve the coming red wave.

She said:

The President had so many hopes and plans for things he wanted to do, but every time you turned around, he had to address the problems of the moment.

“He’s just had so many things thrown his way.

“Who would have ever thought about what happened with the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade? Well, maybe we saw it coming, but still we didn’t believe it.

“The gun violence in this country is absolutely appalling.

“We didn’t see the war in Ukraine coming.

“I know there are so many nay-sayers who say we’ll get slammed in the midterms.

“Okay.

“The Republicans are working hard, they stick together, for good or evil.

“So, we just have to work harder.

“I was saying to myself, ‘Okay, I was Second Lady. I worked on community colleges. I worked on military families. I’ve worked on cancer.

“They were supposed to be my areas of focus. But then when we got in the White House, I had to be, with all that was happening, the First Lady of the moment,” she said.
