Fox News’ Jesse Watters left the competition in his wake continuing his record-shattering ratings streak with two shows that consistently rank in the top ten.

Watters not only crushed his direct time slot competition, tripling CNN’s Erin Burnett and also tripling MSNBC’s Joy Reid in the 25-54 demo, but he also beat Sean Hannity in total viewers and in the demo.

Watters had 2.84 million total viewers compared to Hannity’s 2.59 million. In the 25-54 age demographic, Watters beat Hannity with 360,000 viewers to 306,000 viewers. Fox News issued a statement about its ratings dominance in July that said:

“FOX News Channel (FNC) finished July 2022 as the third most-watched network in all of television during weekday primetime, trailing only CBS and NBC.

“According to Nielsen Media Research, FNC remained as cable’s most-watched network in total day and primetime with both total viewers and the 25-54 demo.

“FNC surpassed CNN and MSNBC combined with total day and primetime viewers and was number one in all of cable with total day and primetime viewers.

“FNC also ranked number one in cable news in primetime viewers for the 18th month in a row and notched 82 of the top 100 cable telecasts for the month. Notably, FNC was the only cable news network to post gains versus July of 2021 in total day viewers, while CNN and MSNBC experienced declines. In total day, FNC delivered 1.4 million viewers, 194,000 with the 25-54 demo and 118,000 with the 18-49 demo.

‘In primetime, FNC netted 2.1 million viewers, 292,000 in the 25-54 demo, and 181,000 with the 18-49 demo. The network also delivered the top four programs in cable news with viewers and the top 15 of the top 16 cable news programs in the 25-54 demo.

“FNC continues to make up over half the cable news audience share occupying 51% of viewers across total day and primetime,” the statement said.
