Russian Jet Fired Missile Near British Plane Patrolling Over The Black Sea: “One of the Su-27 aircraft released a missile in the vicinity of the RAF Rivet Joint beyond visual range”

Tesla CEO Elon Musk is right and the warmongers in America are wrong and we now have proof. Musk, like any sane person not making tons of cash from this war, is afraid of an unintended escalation of the Ukraine conflict that could lead to World War III or the use of nuclear weapons.

He was denounced for these views. But war is messy. Sh*t happens. Like when a Russian fighter jet accidentally fired a missile ‘in the vicinity’ of a British spy plane above the Black Sea at the end of September. This was just revealed by the British Defence Secretary.

Ben Wallace said two Russian Su-27 fighters ‘interacted’ with an RAF RC-135 Rivet Joint spy plane on patrol above international waters south of Crimea on September 29. Wallace said one of the fighters ‘released a missile’ on accident.

Wallace said: “I would also like to share with the House details of a recent incident which occurred in international airspace over the Black Sea.

“On September 29 an unarmed RAF RC-135 Rivet Joint, a civilian-style aircraft on routine patrol over the Black Sea was interacted with by two Russian armed Su-27 fighter aircraft. 

“It is not unusual for aircraft to be shadowed and this day was no different.

“During that interaction however, it transpired that one of the Su-27 aircraft released a missile in the vicinity of the RAF Rivet Joint beyond visual range.

“The total time of the interaction between the Russian aircraft and the Rivet Joint was approximately 90 minutes. The patrol completed and the aircraft returned to base,” he said.

Sergei Shoigu, the Russian defense minister, blamed the incident on a technical malfunction. Britain does not believe it was a deliberate attempt to escalate, Mr. Wallace said but therein lies the danger.

What if the missile hit the plane? What would have happened? Every day the conflict rages more ‘accidents’ could happen. Look, Ukraine shocked the world and has kicked Russia in the teeth. But can they take Crimea and kick Russia off all its land?

Will Russia use nukes if they are forced to leave Crimea so Ukraine can’t have the strategic piece of land? Or will both countries continually shell it so no one gets it? What is the end game?

Ukraine says they won’t negotiate until Russia is out of the country so it is up to Biden and other world leaders to lead.

Because we can’t keep funneling billions to Ukraine, one of the most corrupt countries on the planet, forever. 

And we are not just giving them arms, which we buy from our companies, we are giving them cold hard cash to keep the government operating, to pay salaries, etc. Remember all that cash that disappeared in Iraq and Afghanistan?

If Ukraine won’t come to the table, and can’t win outright soon, we need to talk about finding an off-ramp. 

House minority leader Kevin McCarthy said as much this week in an interview with Punchbowl News. He said after the GOP takes the House in November he is not sure he has the votes to keep funding Ukraine.

Especially if we are in a recession.

“I think people are going to be sitting in a recession and they’re not going to write a blank cheque to Ukraine,” McCarthy said.
