CNN Host Throws Adam Schiff’s False Claims Back In His Face On Live Television

Sharing is caring!

CNN’s “State of the Union” host Dana Bash threw Rep. Adam Schiff’s (D-Calif.) false statements about Trump back in his face on national television Sunday. Bash grilled Schiff saying:

“You said that there was direct evidence of the fact that Donald Trump colluded with Russia back in 2016. Special counsel Robert Mueller said in his report — quote — ‘The investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government.’

“Republicans argue that’s proof that you used your position on the Intelligence Committee to intentionally mislead Americans, which is why you should not be on that committee.”

Schiff, caught in a lie, threw out the same old tired BS that has been debunked many times saying that Trump’s 2016 campaign manager shared polling information with a suspected Russian agent, “To most Americans, that is collusion,” said Schiff.

“Now, whether it’s proof beyond a reasonable doubt of the crime of conspiracy — that’s what Bob Mueller was talking about — I have always distinguished between the two.”

Schiff won’t admit, because it destroys his argument, that the polling data was public stuff anyone could grab on the internet and Manafort’s staffer who send the polling data, Rick Gates, said they did it to brag.

Mueller flipped Gates, remember, so if there was something to this garbage story we would all know it.

Yet the media and the Democrats are still using these lies to bully social media companies into censoring conservatives. We are truly like in an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Bash said:

“Ahead of the first Trump impeachment, you said the committee had not spoken to a whistleblower. In fact, that turned out not to be true.”

Schiff said:

“When I was asked the question, I thought they were referring to whether we had brought the whistleblower in.

“And I should have been more clear in my answer.”

Bash silenced Adam by reminding him that The Washington Post’s fact-checking team said his claim about a whistleblower was false.

Schiff plans to run for Senate on his lies. He said announcing his campaign:

“Our democracy is at great risk. Because GOP leaders care more about power than anything else. And because our economy isn’t working for millions of hard-working Americans. We’re in the fight of our lives—a fight I’m ready to lead as California’s next U.S. Senator,” he said in a tweet containing a video ad.
