Aging Biden Makes Wildest Gaffe Yet – You Won’t Believe Where He Claims He Was ‘Raised’

Sharing is caring!

Long before he was president, Joe Biden had a history of making embarrassing gaffes. The former senator and vice president often confused and worried listeners with strange and often inaccurate comments. But this trend has only continued in recent years, sparking criticism of the man’s age and mental health.

Biden appears to make his biggest gaffes when relating the events of his own life. Fact-checkers have frequently disproven Biden’s claims about his childhood and early political career. The Democrat recently spoke to a group of Jewish rabbis just before Rosh Hashanah. And, in a strange attempt to butter up this group, he made one of the oddest gaffes yet.

From Fox News:

“I, you might say, was raised in the synagogues of my state. You think I’m kidding, I’m not,” Biden told a group of rabbis during a call Thursday ahead of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year holiday that began Friday…

Neither of Biden’s memoirs make any mention of Beth Shalom or attending synagogue, the New York Post previously reported.

Biden is being criticized for claiming he was “raised” in the synagogues of Delaware. He said this while speaking with rabbis just before the Jewish New Year. Biden has a long history of making unverified claims to appeal to various groups.

Previously, Biden claimed he was educated at the Congregation Beth Shalom in Wilmington, Delaware. This does not appear to be confirmed with any data. Biden, who wrote two memoirs, failed to mention this at all.

Joe claims to be a devout Catholic. It would be very unlikely that a Catholic boy would attend a synagogue for education.

During the same call, Biden told the rabbis he “got involved in the civil rights movement” before entering Congress. This is a claim Biden himself admitted wasn’t true in 1988 when he first ran for president. He admitted that in the ’60s he was “not an activist.”

Yet today, he appears to be attaching himself to that movement in an effort to win over minorities.

Biden has also previously claimed to attend a black church growing up–despite claims of being a “practicing Catholic.”

So, is Joe Biden really all things to all groups? Or has his bending of personal history gotten so bad, that he is inventing facts out of thin air?
