Tucker Carlson Rips Neil Cavuto For Cutting Away From Kayleigh McEnany Press Conference
Tucker Carlson dropped the hammer on Neil Cavuto for cutting away from Kayleigh McEnany’s press conference yesterday:
“You can’t just cut away from coverage you don’t like. You can’t simply tell people to accept an outcome because force doesn’t work in a democracy,” Tucker said.
“That’s a dictatorship, Carlson added. “In a free society, you have to convince the public of your legitimacy. You have to win them over with reason. Democracy is always a voluntary arrangement. Telling voters to shut up is never enough.”
Yesterday Fox News cut away from a press conference with White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany after Neil Cavuto said she was making unverified claims about election fraud.
“She is charging that the other side is welcoming fraud and welcoming illegal voting. Unless she has more details to back that up, I can’t in good countenance continuing showing you this,” Fox News host Neil Cavuto said as they cut away.
“Maybe they do have something to back that up, but that’s an explosive charge to make that the other side is effectively rigging and cheating,” Cavuto continued.
