“At some point, Chester-Burton struck the rear of a truck which was pushed into the rear of another vehicle,” the citation said. “She then exited the parking lot striking the pole.”

Officers reported they began to smell alcohol from the mayor’s breath after speaking with her more. Chester-Burton told them she had two apple martinis with dinner at 5 p.m. but later said it had been at 9 p.m., according to the citation.
