Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued a warning to violent protesters when he gave a well-deserved round of $1K bonuses to law enforcement and first responders in his state.“Some want to defund the police. We’re funding the police and then some,” he said.
The first responders — including firefighters and law enforcement officers — got the good news before DeSantis gave protesters some bad news. “If you’re in Portland and think you can come down to Florida and do this — stay out of our state. We don’t want you coming down here and causing problems,” he said.
“We don’t want that coming to Florida. There’s a lot of places around this country that have not stood by law enforcement and the tragedy of it is that you’re seeing crime spike in certain parts of our country like we haven’t seen in decades.”
“The minute you harm somebody else, or you harm somebody’s property, or you do these types of things, the only way we’re going to stop it is to have very swift penalties for it,” DeSantis said.
“You’ve seen in some of these cities, whenever there’s a little bit of unrest, literally there will be a U-Haul that just gets left there and there’s all this stuff in the back of it for these people to do all this stuff,” DeSantis said.
Clearly, Desantis is making all the right moves to make some people nervous. With his elite educational background and common sense ideas, he would be hard for any Dem to beat in a national election.
So someone is out to get him. Below is just one of the many coming hit jobs on Ron.
But when you have a full-on liberal like Bill Maher say, repeatedly, that DeSantis is doing a good job you know the hit jobs won’t work. In short, Kamala would have zero chance if those two faced off in 2024.
From The Daily Beast:
Staff members who worked under Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis get together on a regular basis to “trade war stories” about working for the staunch Trump ally, according to Politico.
Turnover during his days in Congress was famously high, and only two staffers who started with then-Rep.
DeSantis in 2013 are still on his payroll. A dozen aides and consultants told Politico that he “treats staff like expendable widgets” and “largely relies on a brain trust of two: himself and his wife, Casey DeSantis, a former local TV journalist.”
In one instance, DeSantis ordered a Florida GOP official suffering from cancer to be fired the week they returned from surgery.

In Florida, we’re funding them & then some by providing all of our heroes $1,000 bonuses. This represents more than 174,000 first responders across the state!
It was great to visit @ChildCareIR and @westmiamimiddle today to sign HB 419 and HB 7011, important legislation that will improve and provide greater access to high quality early learning programs for our state’s students and parents. pic.twitter.com/BOchzZxe0S— Ron DeSantis (@GovRonDeSantis) May 4, 2021
