Joy Reid To Lose 7pm Show On MSNBC In Shakeup: Report

Sharing is caring!

Jon Nicosia, president of News Cycle Media broke a bombshell story on social media yesterday reporting that Joy Reid has lost her 7 pm show on MSNBC. The change will take place in the spring and all that’s left to do is ‘message’ it properly.

Nicosia wrote: “Source @Comcast: “Joy Reid will lose her 7p show in the next round of reshuffling at MSNBC, she does not have a show come mid-Spring. The decision has been made, the only thing left is messaging on the move, which will be ratings.”

“As was the case with Chris Cuomo at CNN, Reid has allies at Comcast, however, she is now viewed as ‘unmanageable’ by many. Also, similar to Cuomo, it appears those allies have found out she has been ‘less than truthful about past incidents.’

“Also, like Cuomo at CNN. Watch for MSNBC/Comcast to defend her right until the announcement.” Nicosia said on Twitter.

Reid’s past blog posts have been called into question by many, she said she was hacked, but she has also been feuding (and losing) to big names like Elon Musk recently.

From Fox News:

Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder Elon Musk fired back at MSNBC’s Joy Reid, who blasted the billionaire for his attacks toward Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.

The dustup began Monday when Warren took aim at the newly-declared Time magazine’s “Person of the Year,” tweeting, “Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else.”

“Stop projecting,” Musk told Warren, including a link to a 2019 opinion piece calling out her false claims of Native American ancestry.

“You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason,” added Musk. “Please don’t call the manager on me, Senator Karen.”

The world’s richest man also tweeted, “And if you opened your eyes for 2 seconds, you would realize I will pay more taxes than any American in history this year.”
