John Durham’s Probe Has ‘Accelerated’ With ‘Much More Activity Than Has Been Visible Public’: Report

Sharing is caring!

Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation has “accelerated” according to sources who spoke to Fox News and more people are “cooperating” and speaking to the federal grand jury in a bad sign for Hillary Clinton.

“Durham does this right and keeps it a secret,” the source told Fox before adding there has been “much more activity than has been visible to the public” in Durham’s probe.

“They are looking at more than Sussmann,” the source added ominously. “The Government also maintains an active, ongoing criminal investigation of the defendant’s Sussmann’s conduct and other matters,” Durham wrote on Jan Jan. 25, 2022

The corporate media is finally reporting on the bombshell news and while they are disputing some parts of the filing, for the most part, the defense is that Durham has not charged anyone with crimes related to the snooping. Yet.

They accuse Durham of playing politics with his filing and if they are right remember that Durham works for Joe Biden and Merrick Garland. The AG can fire Durham, close the case or replace him so it is hard to believe Biden would let someone play politics from within his own Department of Justice but Biden bumbles around clueless so anything is possible.

A spokesperson for the tech executive Durham named said he “is an apolitical internet security expert with decades of service to the U.S. Government who has never worked for a political party, and who legally provided access to DNS data obtained from a private client that separately was providing DNS services to the Executive Office of the President (EOP).”

“Upon identifying DNS queries from Russian-made Yota phones in proximity to the Trump campaign and the EOP, respected cyber-security researchers were deeply concerned about the anomalies they found in the data and prepared a report of their findings, which was subsequently shared with the CIA.”

Clinton campaign lawyer Sussmann’s lawyers said Durham’s filing was misleading.”The Special Counsel has again made a filing in this case that unnecessarily includes prejudicial — and false — allegations that are irrelevant and are plainly intended to politicize this case, inflame media coverage and taint the jury pool.

“Although the Special Counsel implies that in Mr. Sussmann’s February 9, 2017 meeting, he provided Agency-2 with (Executive Office of the President) data from after Mr. Trump took office, the Special Counsel is well aware that the data provided to Agency-2 pertained only to the period of time before Mr. Trump took office, when Barack Obama was President,” Sussmann’s lawyers said.

From Fox News:

Durham lists a number of individuals, including “the above-referenced former FBI General Counsel,” which could be a reference to James Baker, who served as FBI general counsel from January 2014 until May 2018. Fox News reported in October that Durham had plans to call Baker to testify in the case against Sussmann.

The indictment against Sussmann, says he told then-FBI General Counsel James Baker in September 2016, less than two months before the 2016 presidential election, that he was not doing work “for any client” when he requested and held a meeting in which he presented “purported data and ‘white papers’ that allegedly demonstrated a covert communications channel” between the Trump Organization and Alfa Bank, which has ties to the Kremlin.

Durham’s Feb. 11 filing says that the “FBI General Counsel” will “likely be a central witness at trial.”

Baker did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

Durham also provided grand jury testimony from “the above-referenced former FBI Assistant Director for Counterintelligence.”

It is unclear to which official Durham is referring, but the title could be a reference to Bill Priestap, who served as the FBI’s assistant director for counterintelligence from 2015 to 2018.
