Joe Biden Tells Massachusetts Crowd He Has Cancer In Speech Marred By Multiple Flubs

Sharing is caring!

President Joe Biden told a stunned audience in Massachusetts that he had cancer today in a speech filled with flubs. Fox News reporter Jacqui Heinrich kept score:

“BIDEN speech had a couple gaffes..1) Struggled to pronounce MA Rep. Jake Auchincloss’ name then asked “where is she?” – (Auchincloss is a man). 2) Said Glasgow, Scotland is in England . 3)  “That’s why I and so damn many other people I grew up with have cancer” – ??”

3 three flubs and you’re out…Biden really did tell a small crowd of supporters he has cancer today…The White House tried to lean up Biden’s mess but fell flat. Heinrich said:

“Update: WH official tells me POTUS was referring to past removal of skin cancer in his remarks from Massachusetts. Biden mistakenly stated (present tense) that he has cancer.”

Although that excuse didn’t pan out. Heinrich said:

“Although… Biden’s 2021 health summary attributes past skin cancer to sun exposure: “President Biden did spend a good deal of time in the sun in his youth.

“He has had several localized, non-melanoma skin cancers removed with Mohs surgery before he started his presidency.”

Biden said some other words people wrote for him that got lost through the multiple flubs. He said:

“Climate change in an emergency, and in the coming weeks I’m going to use the power I have as president to turn these words into formal, official, government actions through the appropriate proclamations, executive orders and regulatory power that a president possesses.”

“The announcement today is going to be about making the case that climate change is an emergency, outlining actions that we’re going to be moving forward over the coming weeks,” national climate adviser Gina McCarthy said.

“And the President will make very clear again, that this is an emergency and we are going to act. But the President is going to outline that at his pace.”
