Kayleigh McEnany Puts Don Lemon On Notice After Her Daytime Show On Fox News Beat His Primetime Show On CNN

Fox News continues to crush the competition finishing July 2022 as the third most-watched network in all of television during weekday primetime, trailing only CBS and NBC. According to Nielsen Media Research, FNC remained as cable’s most-watched network in total day and primetime with both total viewers and the 25-54 demo.

FNC surpassed CNN and MSNBC combined with total day and primetime viewers and was number one in all of cable with total day and primetime viewers.

Fox News’ “The Five” was the number one show in total viewers for the fourth consecutive month while “Tucker Carlson Tonight” was the most-watched in the 25-54 Demographic Kayleigh McEnany’s hit show ‘Outnumbered’ continues to do well beating a network rival in July and beating Don Lemon’s primetime show Monday night 38 to 63. This comes amind a report (see below) from the NYT headlined: “Profits Slump at CNN as Ratings Plummet.”

Fox News issued a statement that said:

FNC’s daytime lineup, kicking off with two-hour morning news program, America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino (weekdays, 9-11 AM/ET), delivered 1.6 million viewers and 212,000 in the 25-54 demo.

The Faulkner Focus at 11 AM/ET, anchored by Harris Faulkner, notched 1.6 million viewers and 204,000 in the 25-54 demo and bested CNN and MSNBC across the board. At 12 PM/ET, Outnumbered earned 1.7 million viewers and 224,000 in the demo.

From 1-3 PM/ET, America Reports with John Roberts and Sandra Smith garnered 1.4 million viewers and 194,000 in the 25-54 demo. At 3 PM/ET, anchor and executive editor Martha MacCallum’s The Story averaged 1.4 million viewers and 199,000 in the 25-54 demo, while Your World with Neil Cavuto at 4 PM/ET also nabbed 1.4 million viewers and 190,000 in the 25-54 category for the month. Notably, FNC’s Outnumbered, America’s Newsroom and The Faulkner Focus topped CBS’ The Talk, NBC’s TODAY with Hoda & Jenna and ABC’s GMA3 in viewers.

FNC continued to excel against the competition on weekends throughout the month, outpacing CNN and MSNBC combined with total viewers and the 25-54 demo during primetime on Saturdays and total day and primetime on Sundays.

Unfiltered with Dan Bongino (Saturdays, 9PM/ET) was the most-watched program in viewers on Saturday, earning 1.3 million viewers and 163,000 with A25-54. FNC’s 8 PM/ET addition to its Saturday primetime lineup, One Nation helmed by Brian Kilmeade, garnered 1.1 million and 122,000 in the 25-54 demo.

FNC’s Lawrence Jones, the youngest Black solo primetime host in cable news, also scored 1.1 million viewers and 125,000 in the demo at 10 PM/ET with Lawrence Jones Cross Country.

In the mornings, FNC’s FOX & Friends Weekend was the most-watched program on Saturday in the 25-54 demo, averaging 179,000 viewers and 1.2 million total viewers. Additionally, Cavuto Live at 10 AM/ET rounded out the top three programs in both categories with 1.2 million viewers and 142,000 in the 25-54 demo.
