Donald Trump Just Got Exonerated – Federal Investigation Clears Him In The Lafayette Park Situation
Democrats love spreading false narratives against Donald Trump. But in this case, one major claim is falling apart.
During the seemingly endless riots during the Summer of 2020, police were forced to clear away protesters in Lafayette Park.
They had to employ measures like tear gas and rubber bullets, given how violent rioters had become.
Democrats accused Trump of ordering it himself, so he could walk over to see the damage of St. John’s church.
That lie spread all across the media. Only now is the Inspector General setting the record straight.

Inspector General Mark Lee Greenblatt’s statement said, “The evidence established that relevant [U.S. Park Police] officials had made those decisions and had begun implementing the operational plan several hours before they knew of a potential Presidential visit to the park, which occurred later that day.”
The Inspector General admitted that police cleared away dangerous protesters in order to build security fencing.
You know, because dangerous protesters were threatening our nation’s Capital?
Democrats immediately claimed that these “peaceful protesters” were being cruelly assaulted so that Trump could have a “photo op.”
All throughout the riots of 2020, Democrats blindly claimed Antifa, BLM, and other anarchists were “peaceful protesters.”
Beyond that, they wrongly claimed police cleared these protesters away so that Trump could visit St. John’s church.
But the IG revealed that police were implementing their plan to clear the park hours before they knew of Trump’s visit.
Neither event had anything to do with the other.
Yet you probably saw, for days and weeks, claims on the MSM that Trump was assaulting peaceful gatherers.
At least, now, the truth is coming out. I wonder how many of those news outlets will issue corrections?
